Mike Mbuvi Sonko is the only Nairobi Gubernatorial candidate who links politics to the real issues in lives of the people. Sometimes politics should be seen to meet the ground. It should come out to actually solve the various problems that people face in their day to day lives. For instance, Nairobians have a tough time being comfortable. From devastating water shortages, frustrating traffic, nauseating garbage piles, and unfriendly working/business environments to the hopeless unemployment among the youth of Nairobi, people are on the brinks of losing their hope in the promises that politicians present to them. Nairobians need a redeemer, who understands their plights, and is willing to dirty his hands and get to work.
To date, the taps in the households, businesses, and establishments of Nairobi County have run dry due to poor management of the current office holders. Honorable Sonko has not shied away from coming to the aid of the Nairobians. Whenever the water truck of the Sonko Rescue Team is seen in the neighborhood, eyes are filled with the hope of a better day with water to drink, take a bath, and survive another healthy and hygienic day. Sonko is a leader who connects with people not through talk and political rhetoric, but through providing a solution to the real, tangible, and critical issues that affect all citizens of Nairobi.
